About Me

My photo
Green
Welcome to my blogs. My current professional role is as a chef in a community café. I love to experiment with new recipes and have a passion for baking. I have 3 children: Cheese, Apple and Sausage. I am married to the lovely Mr Green and we have a dog (Wobble) and a cat (Zoomer). I love my children dearly but find parenting hard at times and in muddy boots and messy hands write about my struggles as well as more joyful moments. I love learning and have a background in science. I want to inspire my children to be curious about the world. I am at home with bugs and beasties and can often be found staring at leaves, worms, beetles etc in wonder! I try to model kindness and compassion in my parenting and daily life. I feel things very deeply and despair of cruelty and injustice. I respect the environment and try to do as little harm as possible during my time on the earth. I have recently become vegan and share this new chapter of my life in Green's adventures in veganland. I love to be creative and strive to create beautiful, useful, quirky or edible things. I am a self taught feltmaker but also dabble in other crafts. I would love to hear from you if you read my blog.
